What is ABA?
At its core, ABA is the science of understanding behavior and learning. It looks at why behaviors happen, what triggers them, and what happens as a result and uses that understanding to teach meaningful new skills while reducing behaviors that may be limiting a child's quality of life.
ABA is a team approach. We work directly with the care givers, community care providers, schools/day cares and community outings.
ABA is not a one size fits all. Each child child who receives ABA therapy at White Light ABA Therapy has a fully individualized treatment plan, designed and supervised by a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) and delivered by trained Behavior Technicians (BTs).
